My headers get in the way of my clutch fork return spring. I was thinking of getting a bracket welded onto my header for the spring. Is this a good idea? Anybody have the same problem? Is there an easier way?

I used a 3 inch piece of flat stock, drilled a hole on either end and bolted it to the motor mount, leaving a small hole on the other end for the spring. Another member here was even cleverer. He used a hose clamp around a header tube to provide a place for the spring to attach.

The hose clamp works great! Just align the screw head so that the spring can clip over it.
