I'm still getting a lot of heat on the right side of the 69 dz. I adjusted the valves, reset timing, mixture using a vacuum gauge. Even changed the carb. Motor runs steady with 14 inches of vacuum so no leaks. Most of the glow coming from #8 cylinder until I dis-connect vacuum gauge from the intake port. So with a vacuum leak, glow disappears from #8 and #6 starts to glow. I'm thinking about stagger jetting the carb. What do you think? Thanks, John

John, It is fine to stager jet the carb, and can be a fix foe evening out fuel distribution. I am not sure why your heating on one side though. #6 would be the leaner of the cylinders. Is that the chevy dual plane on there still? I need to ponder this one a bit. But richen the one side up for now. Galen

That's right, Galen, it's the stock dual plane intake. And the dz carb. John
