I bought a Holley fuel pump for my ZZ4 and had it on the engine when I attempted to put the engine back into the car. One of the outlets (or inlet I don't remember which it was) interfered with the frame. I took it off to get the engine into the car. It's supposed to be the type you can take apart and rotate the housing to point the inlet/outlet in the direction you need. Question is, (since there were no instructions with the pump when I bought it) How big of a deal is it to rotate that housing on the pump? Do you just remove the screws, rotate it and button it back up or are parts going to fall out when I open it up? How difficult is this to do?

Just as you said. Should not be a problem at all, I actually did it on my new Holley pump couple of weeks ago. Just ensure that is reseals properly and tighten the screws evenly all around. I believe there are 4 to remove and put back in.

The rotation is straight forward. I don't remember what pressure the Holley puts out but checkit as you may want to add a regulator to keep it around 6 lbs. I use a Carter which had many holes, allowing small rotational changes, self regulates to 6 lbs. I did find in the process that I had the wrong motor mounts and had to change them to get enough clearance. What a journey.
