i just bought and installed some new autometer phantom gauges into my 69 camaro. it looks like the old speedo cable wont fit.the directions say to go to a shop and get a custom one made, does anyone have anysugestions on an easy way out? maybe a cable from another year or posibly another gm car could work? does anyone know? thanx for your help!

just go and get a new one made. they will need the speedo to put the right end on. it is realy not that pricey and well less of a frustration this way. also a new cable is a good idea if you have the original one in there any way. they do go bad and with a new speedo it will probably like you more this way!LOL

I put the Phantom gauges in my Camaro but I used the electric speedo. I love it. Very easy to hook up and very easy to calibrate.
