I have a 69 camaro ss
she seems ok
but it is a 4 speed
when shifting into 3rd, it goes in but when you let off the clutch and punch the gas she just races like it is not even in gear.
even if you get lucky enough to get into third gear she will start to accelerate and then all of a sudden she will slip out.....


please somebody help!!!!!!11

Are you saying even with the stick in gear it revs like it isn't? If so I'd say your clutch is shot. Or is the stick popping out of gear?
