Im working on a 1978 camaro that once had airconditioning, Im stumped on one thing in book question # 2 says Remove Nuts that attach the heater case to the firewall (from the firewall side).Then, remove the screws from the inside the car. My question is How do I get to them. And do I need to move anything like my fender skirt or the old airconditioning unit that is attached to the firewall side to get to these nuts? And if someone has any other tips that may help they would be much appreciated.

more than likely you'll have to remove the lower dash panel (glovebox,radio piece) and probably some of the vents that are underneath there. my car was a non a/c car with straight six (thank god or i would've had to pay someone to do it). with that out of the way everything should be visible. not positive but read in another post that you have to remove the inner fender to get at the remaining bolts on the heater/ac box. good luck.
