Hi ,
I have a problem with my new Autometer electric speedometer ATM 4489-m linked to the autometer sender ATM 5291.
It is installed on the car. when driving it doesn't indicate any speed. If i press the reset button while starting the key, bringing tension to the speedo, then the needle go to full right (260 kph) then if i press again the button the needle go to the middle (130 kph) then if i press again it go to 260 again.
If i start the engine without pressing the button, then the needle goes to 0, and the kph indicator write '2', then if i press the button for some time, the kph indicator indicates 0. Then if i press again it indicate 2 again.
I saw it indicated 3,4,5,6 some time.

Well i don't understand anything about how to calibrate it. I think there is a problem because it never indicate the speed.
How can i test where the problem comes from? from the sender or the speedo?
I am sure my connections are correct.

PLease help me.

Marc
