my headlights worked great until i installed a vary mild .458 lift cam. now it's like every thing is reversed. when i crank the car the doors open when headlights are off. any solutions?

welcome to team camaro and sounds like a vac leak somewhere. With engine out for a new cam, bet a vac hose got cracked or cut or slipped off a connection etc. Or hoses got hooked up wrong. Check out our tech reference section for the routing and then check all connections again for starters.
