what lb./ft. should header bolts be torqed to?

65ft lbs on cast iron heads. Not sure on aluminum

I think 65ft/lbs is too much for headers. It would be about right for SBC heads though (65-68). ARP recomends 36ft/lbs w/arp lube and 46ft/lbs w/oil for 3/8 16 threads per inch. www.arp-bolts.com/ (http://www.arp-bolts.com/)
