'69 Z-28, 350 eng, Holley 650, Accel dual point, getting a high speed miss, any ideas? Carb checked for needle / seats, float level OK, points set and OK....?

What rpm is it happening at?

Happening at about 3000 rpm on up.

its probably the points,when they work they work good, but if you don't keep up on them they are a PAIN!go with a form of HEI or the unilite from mallory(no clearance problems with this distributer). could be wires,or coil too. whats the compression test check out to be?

Have not done a compression check yet, but it seems to be running rich too; what are the symtoms of a bad power valve?

runs like crap at idle and part throttle. it will constantlt need to be "cleared out" at stop signs.

Replaced the power valve, now it runs excellent!
