I believe that there is a allen headed bolt on the box that you can turn to adjust power steering feel and effort.

Johan - If your gear is a power unit, there are two adjustments that can firm up the feel. On top is the pitman shaft adjuster, and on the rear is the spool valve adjuster. Be careful!! Either of these can easily be tightened too much, causing a "no return" condition and premature gear wear. I suggest a Chevy dealer for the adjustment. Good Luck!
