Well few things to check

Air Filter clean?
Fuel Filter replaced?
Fuel Injectors cleaned? (not with the bottle in the gas tank but a real cleaning)
Try a full tank of super unleaded yet from Chevron to see if it makes a difference?

might be the knock sensor is keeping the distributor retarded..tap the block with a wrench and see if the motor responds if not it could be it..its worth a try....knock sensors dont like dog bone timing componets if you have one..hope this helps ya graemlins/beers.gif

Very good suggestions so far. Also, if the car is a MAF system, a vacuum leak will make them run like crud. Check the ducting between the MAF and throttle body. For that matter, a MAP system will also act weird if a vacuum leak exists. A bad MAP sensor can also cause problems. If your system is MAP based, look for a diagnostic procedure in just about any service manual (haynes for example). Whatever you do, don't just throw parts at it. The manuals will explain how to check the sensors. Shotgunning can get very expensive on a fuel injected car.

3rd gen F bodies cars don't have a MAF sensor from 90-92 they are speed density (MAP)...

like said above don't shot gun... start w/ the basics... fuel air spark... inspect the ignition components and check the fuel pressure... a good manual is your best friend on the EFI cars...

after all that start W/ the TPS... thats where I would start my diag w/ the symptoms you are describing...

the tps controls the injector pulse width
still sounds timing related
are both injector strings working?
