I bought a 72 cmaro last year that had been in an accident. I replaced the subframe bushings this saterday and the frame was pushed back a half an inch. I realigned it and the new sheet metal bolts on good but I want to make sure the steering is still safe since everything was pushed back a half an inch.

Steering shaft has a slip joint -should be ok.

That is what I thought but was not 100% sure.
