Its stamped as a truck block by the T in the suffix.

thanks for the info my car was earlier its a sep car with astro embossed Vent windows.

it's an 1986 or newer block, do you have the valve covers that bolt thru the center, or around the corners, you have a 1 piece rear seal block,

Valve covers bolt thru center. Aluminum heads. Don't know about rear seal. The motor is painted orange but under that paint it looks to be black. The engine and tranny were installed by Permance Chevrolet in Mountian Home, Idaho. I have a letter that states Chevrolet ZZ3 aluminum heads, roleer cam, crate motor. Does anyone know specs on this engine? Heads, cam etc?

I don't know what a ZZ3 is, but the option code for this engine was L05 and a common truck engine, denoted by the code above which was only stamped on factory installed engines.

Do you know if this is a 2 or 4 bolt main?
