Nope 055. I know of at least one other mis stamped 05E cowl tag with an 055 build date, body number wise it's only about 400 numbers off from this car, and it's an X77D80 car. Must have been a bad hangover day on the cowl tag machine.
Got a picture of the tag?

Transmission is a 67 Muncie assembled December 15th 1966. Can't tell if it's an M20, 21, or 22 from the assembly code.
The engine was assembled on February 27th 1969 at the Tonowanda engine plant and was installed in a Chevelle at the Baltimore assembly plant.

What a coincidence! We had just run across that 055 dated car last week, then you find this one!
