Were all the rear defroster grills in 1969 metal or were some plastic? I have read that late 69 used plastic. thanks

Pat's 69's May 15th, 01, 07:48 PM Mine is plastic with lower plastic housing.There are 2 #'s on the grill. Part # is 9884678 and 9624516.And the part # on the lower half is PN3023590-1-. I took it out of the car to do restoration work.It was in the car when I bought it,and it has never been restored previously.Now it could have been installed sometime through the year's.But check your part #'s and let me know if there the same. ------------------ NOTHING LIKE A 69 !!!!! 68L30 May 16th, 01, 07:33 AM Pat check the date on the end of the blower motor.They are all dated there. If that is a date code on the motor I guess it is 10th month 1974.
