I have a 67 camaro with all the rs options on it and a ss hood and badges all over it. All of the badges including the hood apear to be vintage due to the age it looks. The car is 4 wheel manual drum brakes with a 12 bolt rearend and 5 leaf rear springs. It has power steering. The original steering wheel is long gone and the original shifter is long gone, but it has a turbo 400 trans in it. It also has a 5000 rpm redline tach in it as well.
Here is the VIN# 124377N120550
Here is the trim tag:

10C E
ST 67-12637 NOR 20675
TR 765-Z R2
W 2MGS 3SDL
5BY

I had thought that it was just an SS clone that was done a very long time ago until I ran across a post on here stating that Chevrolet didn`t put the SS code on that early build of a car.
Is this a true SS?

Others can comment as Im not up on 67's much but I wonder if it is SS with a powerglide transmission in it. Maybe Dan or Kurt or others can comment on its SS or not.

Thanks for the help and for the compliment. I love the red as well.
What are strato bucket seats? My seats have been recovered by a previous owner in a material that resembles movie theater seats. YUK!!!
The large bumper guard you mentioned front and rear is odd because the front bumper doesn`t have them on it and the rear bumper just has the small bumperettes. Very odd.
Didn`t all 67`s come with monoleaf rear springs? Is it possible someone just put those 5 leaf springs on my car?
I know nothing about the history of the car. The last owner of the car committed suicide and I bought the car from his father and he couldn`t tell me anything about it.

By the way, that tinted front windshield option on my car is kinda cool. I just pulled it out a couple of months ago and found that it was the orignal windshield with no rock pecks or cracks.

Not an early enough car for it not to have the 4P. Could you post the axle numbers? I suspect that it has been replaced. Yes, all 67's came with monoleaf rear springs.
