I have a 69 Camaro SS 350. I have found out all the info on the cowl tag but don't know what this other code means. I will post all the info from the car. On top of the cowl above the wiper motor there is a M 28 1 stamped in the cowl. Does any one know what this is?

These letters and numbers are all about 1/8 of an inch high(if that)?

Yes they are not that big. What do they mean?

I have found numbers like that in several places on my '67. Stamped on the inner side of the doors, trunk lid and cowl. I assumed it has some sort of meaning in relation to when the panel was stamped in production.

28 is the week the panel was made. Not sure what the letter is for.

Could you post the VIN and recheck the NOR # (it should be 6 digits)? I'll make sure they match.
Don't see many 714 interiors.

Thanks.

Kurt there are only 5 numbers after NOR. Also my car has a big block heater box. It looks to be stock. How could a X11 code car have a big block heater box? And the vin under the heater box cover matches the vin on the dash. This car has a 3/8 fuel line with the small vent line. This car is also for sale if any one is interested

Kurt It does not have a vent line from The tank to the fuel pump. I forgot to type in the word out

Thanks for the data submission on the CRG website. Never seen a 69 with only 5 digits in the NOR #.

Hard to tell what it was, esp without the original drivetrain. The heater core could easily be swapped.
Could be a COPO with that fuel line, but I'd need more proof.
Does it have a plate welded to the driver's side rear frame rail with 2 holes in it? It is 2" high and 5" long and is located 3" rearward of the shock. It is visible behind the rear tire if you are standing at the rear tire.

Also check the radiator. How big is it? Does it have a curved neck coming out the top? Does the car have a cowl hood? Does it have power disc brakes? Is it a 12 bolt rear? What code is on the rear? Have I asked enough questions, hahaha?
