Would my firewall plate include info on the engine size and or trans. size of my camaro. It was a standard coupe w/ automatic on the tree. I have a 383 for it but I'd like to keep the factory correct C.I. emblems on the front fenders. 307--305 whatever. FYI. I don't have the factory build to sheet that would be on the fuel tank. It's long gone.

The plate will not give you the info. The VIN will start off as a 12337 for a 6 banger coupe and 12437 will be a v8 coupe.
Generally if you have a 5/16 fuel line going to the pump from the tank you will have a 6 banger, 307,or 327 car. 3/8 will be a 350 and up. Basically hard to tell. Of course if you have a 3/8 line with a return line that's another story.

VIN reads 124379L511371 if I read it correctly. If I read you correctly the only info I can gleen is it's a V8 not the cubic inches?

Correct. It's atleast a V8 car.
