Guys
I have been looking at the Team Camaro web site for awhile now and the pace car is almost ready to paint. Now for the question. My wife wants a first gen. I have found a fairly nice 67 without too much rust.It seems like the 67's don't bring as much as the 68 and 69 year models. If the cars were all optioned the same, would this be true.
Thanks,David

Many I have talked to prefer the 68~69 body styles without the "Wind-Wings".
They think this gives the car a smoother look.

Many (like Me) have also stated that they were tired of fussing with the Vent Window seals and leaks. The 67 cars also have some parts that are "unique" to this year only and they are sometimes harder to find and more expensive. This was a factor in my decission when one of my cars 'had-to-go' with the "X" - she got the 67 SS Coupe.

I have had both 67 and 68 Convertibles and much prefer the cleaner looking lines of the 68 when the Top is Down - the vents just always seem out of place.

Just my .02...

I collect only 67 & 68 camaros. I feel that the 69 model year is the most popular at this time hence a higher price. Although a few bugs were worked out for 68 it is most likely the ease of adding options to this year camaro that drives the price up. With the cowl tag of a 67 in plain view with the options listed it is subject to scrutiny unlike the 68 & 69. I have a great 67 SS bolero red matching # car. It was not blessed with interior or exterior trim options and will most likely suffer needlessly because I cant just slap on some pillar and drip rail chrome.
