If you are wondering if the 69 Z 302 would wind that high....Yes it did and yes it still does. Not the best for cruising around town but get them wound up and they are hard to beat. olympic69 Mar 5th, 04, 09:01 PM Greetings and welcome. There were several versions, with some indication that the 6.5K redline came late in the production year, making it rather rare. My 03E X33 has the 6K/8K. I have never seen one, but it is some testament to the factory's faith in their little screamer! So I think the answer is it was a late year iteration. graemlins/beers.gif Rob 8ballracing Mar 6th, 04, 04:42 AM As rainman would say, "da definetely definetely a late build tack for a 1969 Z28 Camaro". I have a 9E X77 with a 6500 8000. 8 Ball jsg1010z Mar 6th, 04, 08:05 PM thanks for the welcome! this place seems to have a great number of folks helping other camaro folks!
