The Pontiac Division began releasing original invoice documentation to its customers in the late 1980s. It is now 15 plus years later and still no documentation available from the Chevrolet Division. Does anyone have any new information or feedback on this subject. I know the rumors about fear of lawsuits for fake Z28s and that Chevrolet no longer has the information but what is fact and what is fiction? I would really like to see the Camaro Community get behind this issue and try to make it a priority for GM/Chevrolet.

Welcome Tank to Team Camaro. That subject has been discussed here for years now. We even have some members that work at Chev. that frequent this site and add their perspectives too. So far, no proof that any of that paperwork similar to Pontiac survived. You can try using 'search' button at the top and type in " Chev documentation" or other such words and read up on past threads on the subject. Our Camaro community here is all for accurate information from GM if it exists smile.gif Chev knows we all want any info. they can find too. We cross our fingers but still compile our own databases and information sources such as the folks over at www.camaros.org (http://www.camaros.org) have done.
