Hello....

Is a 3/8" carb to pump fuel line correct for a '67 SS350 to a Q-Jet?

My '67 SS350 was 3/8". Calif Emissions car built in LOS - Van Nuys.

Thanks Vintage. Mine is also a Los Angeles built car with A.I.R. but, it has a 5/16" line. Are you sure yours is correct?

I just went out and measured mine. I would say 5/16.

The operative word here is 'was' (don't have that car anymore, but know where it is) my '67 SS350 a 3/8" line - and the answer is yes.
I only remember because of a failure to be able to get the 'correct' 5/16" hose to fit that I got from a supplier, only to measure the line (not the little buldge on the end) and find it was 3/8". The 3/8" hose fit just perfectly.
I had a couple plain janers and they were 5/16". Both had 327/210 engines w/PG.
Don't mean this to be definitive on what cars had what.
My '68 SS is 3/8" also.

Thanks Guys. Is there a book I can buy that'll have the correct info? Assembly manual doesn't have it, only a part number or
same as L30.

Mine is 5/16"- pump to carb. 3/8"- tank to pump. This is a early Nov. car; later cars may have used 3/8" pump to carb. I can only find one part number in the Chevrolet parts catalog, and it's for 67-69 307,327 2bbl. no mention of size.

Just to ad to what John said. Is everyone sure that we are talking about the same fuel line. The line from the pump to the carb is a 5/16 hard line (no flex hose). The line from the tank to the pump has a soft line from the frame to the pump and is a 3/8 line.

Ohh..okay, ya, 5/16" with small block..3/8" big block

Sorry I took for granted it was the Frame Line from fuel tank that was in question.
The hard steel line from the fuel pump to carb was 5/16" - as stock.
Think they changed the pump to carb line to 3/8" on small blocks for the '69's or early 70's. My 73 and 77 truck 350's have 3/8" to carb.
