the date also should be on the back side of it. It should look something like '15E8'(2 #s a letter and another #). Is it cast or alum.?

I couldn't find 808 or 803 in my GM parts inter exchange book. Is this a part number or casting number?

It is cast iron, but I don't know if it is the cast number or the part number.

That is a casting #. Are you sure the last 8 is not a 3?
3919803 is the casting # for a 68 327/350 4 barrel intake as camnut pointed out.
cant find any info on 808.
