Does anyone know exactly what is included with option code 5B on 1967 cowl tags?
I've seen this option defined by MacNeish as "both front and rear large bumper guards" and elsewhere (for example, by Hooper) as "appearance guard group" which includes the bumper guards and also factory floor mats and door edge guards.
My car has the 5B code and I restored it using MacNeish's definition. I'm starting to think it should have the door edge guards and floor mats too. Otherwise, why even dedicate a cowl tag code just for bumper guards?
Sure would be nice to clarify this option code so I could do things correctly once and for all.
