X11 could be anything from a 6 cylinder base coupe with style trim to a SS/RS 350 WHAT it is Not is a BIG Block car (X22 or X66)Look for items to
indicate it may have been a SS 350 EG.. power disk brakes,12 bolt with correct date code, exhaust bracket in LR fenderwell etc..
the vin number could rule out a SS if it were
12337N That would indicate 6 cylinder car as opposed to 12437 V8 (if convert.last two would be 67 instead of 37)

Where do the heater hoses go into the heater blower box? At the inboard side, separate from the blower box (small-block) or right through the middle of the blower box (big-block)?

harryo,
check the date and codes on the axle to see if it is a swap. The casting code is on the rear inside the ribs and the assembly codes are stamped on the front of the axle tube on the passenger side. If it does not match the car, it's definately a swap.
