Sold the car to a man from the Mass/NH border;
I wish him the best in restoring my old car,
I owned it for about 8 years,and learned a lot about Camaro's at this great web site.

I drove the car a little over halfway to his home to meet him,and my Girlfriend followed me,
in her car.As usual the Camaro ran great;it really sounds good at 70-75 mph,with the Flowmasters. smile.gif

Sad to part with the car I have owned the longest
of any vehicle ever,but,the car really needs to be
painted,to keep going to the car shows,and that is
out of my ability to do,or afford.

I have my 67 Camaro for sale,
a gent called wanted to know about the build sheet,I told him,when I had the rear seat out,
I did not find one,nor when the gas tank was out.

What other spots are worth looking for a build
sheet,Norwood build car. :(

I did a search;here,and Norwood cars seem to be sol for the build sheets,but had to ask.

Thanks;Lee Cavemanmoron

Must be a COPO with a 427! I can see why you want to find the build sheet. It will make the difference between 150k or a mere 100k!

Lee,
I'm not sure any build sheets have been found in first generation Norwood cars. I'm curious if there has been.
Anybody??

No sign of mine (also a Norwood car)...though I have found a few rusty window trim clips under the back seat along with some beer can pull tabs. I also found about an inch of a broken rat tail file inside the cavity behind the passenger kick panel.

Engine is from a 69 Impala/Caprice,
was put in the car in 1971,from what i was told,
and heard the same story from 3 diff people,at
different car shows.
Dad,and son were changing the oil and filter,
Dad goes in the house,Son comes in 5 mins later;
"Hey Dad,I am almost done with the car".
Dad goes out,gets in the car,and heads to the store for a pack of cigs. :(
Engine goes boom. :mad:

A relative has a 69 Impala wagon,that 6 months earlier was hit real hard in the back,twisted the frame,etc.. No collision insurance etc....
The engine comes out of the wagon,and into the
Camaro,about the same time,sub frame connectors are put under the car. smile.gif

Now, I have the car for sale,and 2 people asked about the factory engine,which is Long gone. :(
and one asked about the build sheet;which i guess
is not in the car either.

Thanks all,
Lee, cavemanmoron graemlins/beers.gif

I have a 62 impala conv. for sale. This guy calls and asks how many miles on the car? I reply "the title is exempt, its over 40 years old". He insists I tell him the "true mileage" I told him to call JFK he might know. What do people expect you to provide on a vintage car, a birth certificate?

I have a Norwood 67 also... and a body shop stripped it right down... guess what? No build sheet... they DID remove the VIN and LOST IT!!! I kid you not... but I already posted on that, and it was beat to death.

There is another place sometimes... up under the dash in the electrical wiring harnesses... just stuffed up there. Duh.

Someone called last night;
Is the 427 the original engine?

Well since its a 67 most buyers should be happy with just the trim tag information.
