Any experts on Borg Warner T-10's? How can I tell if it is a Super T-10 or just a T-10? Trying to figure out what I have and what it should go in. Here are the numbers:

AS9-T10Y

It is a Super T-10. The E 30 79 = May 30 1979. I don't know alot of the other codes, but would guess that it came in a '79 Z/28 or Pontiac T/A. The AS9-T10Y, I'm not sure on AS9, but T10Y is the gear ratio. Y=
a 2.88:1 1st gear, 1.74 2nd, 1.33 3rd., 1.00 4th., 2.78 rev. I hope this helps some.
