I HAVE A 12 BOLT THE # ARE:H244 385298ON
THE GUY IBY IT FROM TOLL ME THA IT CAME FROM
A 69 CAMARO, WITH 331 GEARS.
I BOLT IT ON AND NOW IT SEMS LIKE MI CAMARO
ITS SLOW,MY SPIDOMETOR ITS WY OFF.
I HAVE A68 CAMARO WITH THE 10 BOLT ON BEFORE.

Sounds like the gears in the old 10 bolt were a different ratio than the 12 bolt. this would mean you need to recalibrate your speedometer. Next depending on what the old gears (10 bolt) were, your car will either excelerate faster but not go as fast (top end) or will go faster (top end) but will take longer to get there.

Post some more info, old gear ratio and which of the 2 above you ment when you said it's slower.

You need to get the numbers off the front of the passenger side axle tube. They will start with 2 letters.
