I have a ss350 conv (x55) and it has the orig 3spd trans in it (correct VIN ) and I think its a HD muncie. Can someone please verify for me the part # on the pass side is 3911882. Thanks for your responses. Anybody have an idea how many SS350 converts produced with the 3spd?

I believe the number is @618. I also have a '67 SS/RS Convertible 350, with the correct trim tag code for the HD 3 spd, but unfortunately do not have the original transmission.

In the 69 Chevelle the manual 3 speed was Muncie MC1. Hope this helps

The maincase casting # for the Muncie HD 3 speed (MC1) was 3911940. I don't see the # you posted.
What's the date code stamped on the left side of the maincase, on the boss below and to the rear of the sidecover?
Where is the VIN stamped on the trans?
What is your VIN?
