I have been working on converting the paint codes from the 900 numbers you see on build sheets, order forms, broadcast forms etc.. Classic white is listed twice but it was used in 70 as a different number than in 72. I have compiled the following List:

Jody - while I don't have anything to add regarding the early 70s codes, what you are doing is the same thing we did at CRG for the 1969 paint codes. See the table at the following link.

Thanks for the link. Looks like its different than the 900 codes used in 1972. I have been finding a lot of the codes by having people with build sheets, order forms, window stickers etc.. give me their "900" code and also their cowl tag paint code. My list is growing quite large. I have quiet a few codes, including ones that are not even Camaro colors that used the "900" format. Corvette seems to have used the 900-code system exclusively.

I have over 2,200 Norwood build sheets for 72 Camaro’s and to tell what color the car was you have to convert the number from a "900" number.
