Can someone please tell me what the features of a 68 Camaro SS were? I just saw one sitting in someones backyard, and its for sale if i want it. The gas cap on has SS on it. The taillights were two pieces, the outside lenses were red and inner were white. There is no badges anywhere on the car. It had a two speed tranny, AC controls, and I think the speedometer went up to either 120 or 140. I know there is all kinds of fakes, but I would just like to know if this is sounds like an SS, or what options SS's had.

Theres no way of knowing unless you have the original bill of sale, the #'s wont say anything..

But, check if it has a 12bolt, and multi-leaf's and a rear spolier, and what size is the engine?.....even if all this is there, it could have been added...68 was the best year to FAKE IT. http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
