I got this 69 SS camaro from my inlaws. i am looking for the correct paint color. the cowl tag reads.

The color chip (55) I found says its a turquoise metalic. But the large sticker that the dealer tapes to the window listing all the options listed the paint as 55-55 Azure Tourquoise. Is there a difference???? It has a white vinyl top as well. Thanks

Hi Ribby,

55 is, indeed, Azure turqoise. The difference in "55 55" and "55 E" is that the 55 E car has a parchment vinyl top.

When two color codes are displayed, it designates a painted top (no vinyl).

Could you post the VIN off the car and recheck the LA code? V26 is not valid... is it V026, V260, etc.?
