I have a 69Z with an Oct build date
Is there any way to tell if it came with chambered exhaust?
Thanks

You have an Oct of 69 car, so no way. They stopped chambered production in May 69.

Oct 68 build or Oct 69 build? If it's an early car(Oct 68) then it most likely came with the chambered exhaust.

I assumed that it is a Oct 68 build
Didn't production end before Oct 69?

69 Camaro's had the longest production period, last week of August 1968 until second week of November 1969

Seeing you have a 10E car with a 9N7xxxxx VIN, that would make it a Oct 69 car. No chambered.

Thanks
What would the stock exhaust have looked like?
One muffler over the rear differential and or 2 mufflers in the exhaust pipe before the rear diff?
Thanks again

If you are looking to get a system thats a close to right as possible try http:// web page (http://www.gardnerexhaust.com)

i have used them a couple of times, and it is about as right as it gets. Exhaust and clamps are right on the money, hangers are close. But they are always improving. Also, the sound is correct on the muffler systems, can't vouch for the chambered, but their website has sound bites for you to listen on different cars. They probably have a 69z
