Sorry guys for posting so many time, but I told I might have better luck here. I was wondering which Coil is correct for a BB 4spd Pace car? the 293 BR unit or the 270 unit? Also what does the "j" above the 293 BR designate? Thanks:)

I hope someone answers your question because I'd like to know the answer as well.

Here's a post I replied to earlier in reference to cowl induction coils. I believe all V8's used the 293-BR coil. There are alos other coils used in production, I guess it depended on what the line had in stock at the time. The 293 coil would be correct.
