I have two 186 cyl heads dated G80 and A210 could these have been from the same car and does the date code indicate they are from a 1970 engine 370HP 350? These are factory 2.02's.

Jan 21, 1970 and July 8, 1970, probably not from the same car. It looks like 186 casting was used 1969 and 1970 302 and 350 Hi-Po. I think they were also used for 350/300 engines in smaller valves size. Hope this helps. graemlins/waving.gif

Thanks Gary..I think your right, since they are factory 2.02 they are probably from a 370HP 350 application.

If they're original 1970 Camaro/Corvette LT-1 2.02-valve heads, they'll have screw-in studs and guide plates; if not, they're from a hydraulic-lifter engine.
