Has anyone ever seen a vin stamped on a 1967 327 motor?? All I have ever seen is the date code and engine suffix.

Yes I have seen them on the 327's to be more specific on a HO coded 67 Vette engine

I have one. A 67 327/210 ME motor.

Bruce, I would be interested to learn if it was a late or early LA or NOR car. This would be the first vin on an ME I have heard about.

Daniel, I'll try to get a pic in the next few days/week. The block is across town at a buddies machine shop. After we started doing the machine work we found a small crack near the drain plug and decided to use another block. I think the block is still in his shop.

Flatt, the car is a 10A NOR car. It was all original when I bought it. The assy code is V1008ME.

I'll try to get the block back to my shop in the next few days so I can get you guys a pic.

Well, I spoke too soon. I got the block back over the weekend, no VIN. I had my wires crossed with a 68 ME block I had that has the VIN on it. They say your memory is the first thing to go. I forget what's second.
