HawaiianCamaro Mar 4th, 04, 05:41 PM Yes I have seen them on the 327's to be more specific on a HO coded 67 Vette engine Bruce68 Mar 5th, 04, 05:11 AM I have one. A 67 327/210 ME motor. 67ss350camaro Mar 5th, 04, 06:16 AM Bruce and Tim, I would be interested in a picture of the engine pad if possible. Jeff, I think we are just talking Camaros here smile.gif Flatt67 Mar 5th, 04, 11:28 AM Bruce, I would be interested to learn if it was a late or early LA or NOR car. This would be the first vin on an ME I have heard about. Bruce68 Mar 5th, 04, 12:07 PM Daniel, I'll try to get a pic in the next few days/week. The block is across town at a buddies machine shop. After we started doing the machine work we found a small crack near the drain plug and decided to use another block. I think the block is still in his shop. Flatt, the car is a 10A NOR car. It was all original when I bought it. The assy code is V1008ME. I'll try to get the block back to my shop in the next few days so I can get you guys a pic. Bruce Bruce68 Mar 8th, 04, 10:22 AM Well, I spoke too soon. I got the block back over the weekend, no VIN. I had my wires crossed with a 68 ME block I had that has the VIN on it. They say your memory is the first thing to go. I forget what's second. Sorry for the confusion! jg95z28 Mar 10th, 04, 07:53 AM I have never seen a VIN on a 67 Camaro 327. |
