the only number i can see cast in the tranny housing is: 1304065903

Is this the number i need to identify the transmission? It is a 4 speed and should be an M22 but was not the orginal tranny in this car.

just4funn68, 13 04 065 903 is cast into the main case just above the drain plug of a ST-10 Borg-Warner 4-speed. It's not a muncie, sorry. Hope this helps--Crash
