Looks like a well equiped car!

01D=Body build date code 01=Jan D=4th weeks production.
S303=LA work order number

ST 67-12637 LOS-15224 BODY PAINT
ST=STyle 67=1967 12637=Camaro Deluxe V8
LOS=Los Angles final assembly 15224=Body sequence and not supposed to match the VIN.
707-Z 707=Deluxe Vinyl trim Z=Strato Bucket seats(no headrests)
T-T=Capri cream, lower and upper colors

W 2LGS 35K 4P 5Y These are the option code groups, note 1 is always ommited for the first group.

Group 1
W=A02 Tinted Windshield only

Group 2
L=M20 or M21 4=speed
G=D55 Console
S=U73 Rear Antenna

Group 3
5=no 5 used could it be a S?
S=Z23 interior decor group
K=Z21 exterior trim group

Group 4
P=L30 327/275hp or L48 350/295hp

Group 5
Y=A39 Deluxe seat belts

I think this is a SS car because the L30 or L48 were SS engines. Someone else will have to confirm this, I can't lay my fingers on the facts sheet at the monment.

Didn't all small block 67 Camaro SS come with a 350/295hp (L48)??

ElCamino's decode was correct. And Jonesy is correct.
The L48 is an SS350 engine and the L30 is the 327/275hp.

So, from the codes you can't tell if it is a SS. Both a SS and a L30/M20 will have a 12 bolt.
There are a bunch of differences, all minor. See www.camaros.org/diffs67.shtml (http://www.camaros.org/diffs67.shtml) for the details.
Original glovebox sticker and speedo hole location are the two things to check that come to mind.

Do you have the original engine? What trans is in the car and what's the stamped #'s off of it?

Could you post the VIN and let us know what you find?

Thanks!

Kenny:

Nobody mention that the 707 trim code is for yellow custom buckets.
