The engine is a 1968 2-bolt 327ci.
The heads were used on 283 and 327 engines from like 1960 - 1967. They're 70cc heads.
I couldn't find the NH suffix.

Hope this helps....

18L161828 is the VIN from the original car which was a 1968 Impala built at the VanNuys Plant.

T0603HN is probably what you have stamped rather than NH. HN is a 1968 Passenger 327/250hp 4bbl with powerglide trans.

That 327 is a large journal,so you can make a 350 real easy.

I thought it was a small journal block?

Technically, it's a medium journal block.

230 mains = small journal block - ex. 265, 283, and early 327
245 mains = medium journal block - ex. 302, late 327, and 350
265 mains = large journal block - ex. 400

Like "carhodge" mentioned - easy to make 350 (I just did it). Even more fun, that also works for a 400 stroker crank for a 383 that will torque your eyeballs out.

By any chance - which exhaust manifolds were on it. I may have interest if '68s.
