A good while back I had posted about some bent post '69 headrests dated jan '69 and got the impression they were some of the earliest out there... The change from straight to angled posts was made around the first week of November 1968.

I have an 11B car with late Oct 68 headrests and they are straight. Must have been close to the cutoff date.

Dennis, My car is a 10B and has one straight (drivers) and one bent (passengers) head rest. I'm guessing that the bent was a replacement for some reason. I pulled them today and got the dates.

Drivers - straight - 7-1-68
Passenger - bent - 11-27-68
