I am looking to buy a 69 RS with 327 motor. Block is 3932386. I know these were used on 350s and 302s. My reference do not show a 327 with 3932386...but have seen it refered to on this site. I thought LM1 replace 327 in 69.? Any help appreciated

The LF7 327/210HP engine was the base V8 camaro engine until 1/1/69 at which time it was replaced by the L14 307/200HP smog motor. It was the only 327 used during the 69 model year. The LM1 350/255HP replaced the L30 327/275HP engine at the start of the 69 model year. The 327 used the same block as the 302 and 350 so it's entirely possible to have a late 68 built (to December 68) 327 with a 386 casting number.
