I have a feeling it might be an aftermarket head, because I cant find out the info anywhere, but I made a sketch in microsoft paint:

Sik, (?)
Are there any casting numbers that you can see anywhere on the head, or other identifying marks ?? Almost every manufacturer has something to ID the heads cast into them.

I actually dont have my car up here with me at school, so I cant tell you the details of the head. I dont really need a accurate casting number, just something to go by as my baseline for my upgrades coming up. Is it old, is it new, is it good is it bad? Thanks
Thanks HwyStarJoe, but thats a copyrighted image smile.gif j/k

sik,
You missed the point...you do need a casting number to figure out what head you have. The casting marks on the ends will sometimes tell you something, but GM has been know to use the same casting marks on two totally different heads. The old "double hump" heads are a perfect example...there are several variations with the same casting mark. Sooooo...without the casting number, any info is just a guess.
