Can someone out there help me identify these small block Chevy heads(center bolt valve cover)?
Casting number 10088113
date code(?) 8200

We are putting together a small block and want to used these heads for street performance use. We have installed heavier springs for a more aggresive hydraulic cam but otherwise have not modified them.

I would like to know what they are and how they perform.

They are L98 Corvette heads. They have good flow #s. The combustion chamber is 58cc. Will make a lot of comp.

those heads are tested in chp's cylinder head flow database. they actually flow kind weak, esp. on the intake side. (under 200cfm at .600) chp made the comment in the review that the 882 head outflowed them "across the board". go check it out on thier website. www.chevyhiperformance.com (http://www.chevyhiperformance.com)

Same article says Lt1 head with 2.00/1.55 heads flow good. These valve sizes are not good in the L98 head? The heads have the same ports. If you look at the in. ex. % they are good. These make good street heads.
They are aluminun so they port easy.
