I was wondering if it is possible to identify if a 327 that has had performance mods done was originally a 2bbl or 4 bbl stock model? The block has been painted and I can't read the numbers on the front of the passenger-side head. Any help is appreciated!

Do you still have the original heads on it?
If so - the 275 had camel hump castings in the front of the heads (two mounds) - the 210 had two stacks (narrow squared off tops)

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure if I have the original heads. It was sold to me as having the original 327, but the block has been painted and I suspect it isn't original. I will look at what you describe and see if I can spot what you are talking about. If you feel like posting more specifics, hey man, click the mouse and begin. This forum is sweet. Do all you "tech team" guys work at the same place or know eachother????

Can you guestimate how much horsepower my car is gettin right now, knowing it is a 210 327 stock and has had the following minor mods done:
- Edelbrock performer RPM intake
- Edelbrock model 1406 (600 cfm) 4 bbl carb
- TH350 trans
- Headers and Dynomax dual exhaust
- Accel supercoil HEI
Just wondering is all.........thanks man, you are helpful....
