this car has the following:console with gauges,6-7 redline tach,fold down rear seat
exaust plate on drivers side framerail,big single fuel line.

The axle is a 12-bolt 3.73 Posi built on 9/30 (correct to car build date), but the tranny is a "mix-and-match" rebuild with a '64-'65 small-countershaft main case, an early '63 tailshaft (driver-side speedo), and a '70 side cover with provisions for a TCS switch on the 3-4 lever boss. '69 Z's used a 3925660 main case, 3857584 extension (with passenger-side speedo), and a 3950306 side cover.

What else do you know about the car - engine numbers, speedo cable hole location, wheels, rear springs, frame rail reinforcement for left tailpipe hanger, etc.? If you can give us more info we can run it down.

it does have the reinforcement for the tailpipe on the drivers side. there are 2 holes for the speedo but the one that was used is on the motor side the other has a gorment.

I was told when I bought the car from the third owner that the first owner removed a 302 from it. I bought the car without an engine.I am pretty sure it has 4 leafs I know it is a multi.I wanted to make sure what it was so I dont waste time and money tracking down the missing pieces.Do you think it would be worth the trouble.
