The "Group" codes you listed will not reveal the engine type. They do indicate your car has/had a Powerglide trans and a Console (2MG) and Style Trim/RPO-Z21 (3K) options You may want to read through all the Decode information on the Camaro Research Group Site for clarifications on your Cowl Tag and options. http://www.camaros.org/index.shtml You might also want to post the complete Cowl Tag info and the VIN so it can be recorded for the CRG data base. jg95z28 Sep 14th, 04, 11:24 AM Beat me to it! ;) Mark C Sep 14th, 04, 12:38 PM Options: 2M = (M35) Powerglide Transmission 2G = (D55) Console front compartment 3K = (Z21) Deluxe exterior trim Depending on the VIN it could be a 230ci/140HP L6 cylinder, or an LF7 327ci/210HP V8. kenz67 Sep 16th, 04, 11:38 AM thankz mark for your imformation. kenz67 Sep 17th, 04, 11:03 AM thankz for your help mark .trying to firgure if car is a ss or the guy lied to me thankz . kenz67 smile.gif Bob Brissie Sep 17th, 04, 11:47 AM Ken, A 67 SS car should have a 4P code on the trim tag as well. Probably an original 327/210 HP car with powerglide and console, but would not know that unless I had the engine suffix from the front engine pad. kenz67 Sep 18th, 04, 08:37 AM thankz bob for your help .on trim tag . under general motors is o7b st 67-12437 nor 153980 body .trim 760z .2mg 3k an paint is h-h an engine suffix pad should be by the window wipers if im right. butt their isnt any thing there an thankz alot for your help an information thankz .
