I hear about 3% of 67 camaros were plum. CRG has about 20 plum cars in the reg. 12 small blocks 7 big blocks and 1-2 z28s. jackr Feb 12th, 03, 04:55 AM I get comments on my plum 67 all the time. Usually it is "is THAT the original color" and "I've never seen one that color". I need to drive it more in the daylight, The heavy metallic in the plum looks great in the sun. green z Feb 12th, 03, 02:06 PM Hello Jackr, How have that plum w/parchment car, and you been.I'm just starting to get moore into mine. I am going to get into a second rebuild soon. I have been taking it to the drags every now and then and have got bitten. I want a little better front suspension from stock and am going to build the 350 a little more but still keep it very street worthy. It runs 14.5's in the 1/4 now but I want to get it into the low-mid 13's and be able to turn and stop better too. green z Feb 13th, 03, 03:18 AM Jack my first camaro was plum too(I think Ihad told you that before) It was a ss350 4speed 331 gears. It had a torker intake, headersand the old Mr gasket orange traction bars that they sold in the early seventys and seven inch cheater slicks. It would run 13.40s @ 101 mph all day long. So it doesn't take much for those 350 295s to run good MickyT Feb 14th, 03, 10:22 PM We have a plum/parchment 327/210 PG 67 as well (currently in primer). We would be grateful for any pictures of this color. We have had a few sent to us. We are trying to decide whether to repaint in original color or not so the more pictures the better. Thanks in advance.... green z Feb 15th, 03, 07:52 AM You need to go with that color with a white bumble stripe, No question about it. |
