Hello, I have a 69 RS/SS 350 which I'm replacing with a GM 502. My friend wants to buy my 350 but wants to know what type of engine this is based on the pad number. The block casting is 3970010 the pad is stamped V07105F3. I can't seem to figuar out the pad number? Any thoughts? The heads are 3998993 and 3998988. Could this be a truck engine? Thank you, Joe

That's a pretty generic engine. It's a 350/185, could be a 2 or 4 bolt main. It was used from '69 to '79 in passenger cars, trucks and Corvettes.
