I don't follow. Never saw one before.
The '68 deluxe wheel was Walnut and had a metalic center cap...

Are you speaking of the horn button or stamped on the steel on the back side when the wheel is removed?

Are you sure its the Rosewood? That was first offered as an option in '69 I believe so it couldn't be stock.

Okay its a wood steering wheel. The center cap or horn cover has flags just like the ones you see in the entrance to Tech Forum. I also has a big S in the middle. no the horn cover is not stock but the steering wheel is. just wanted to know if anybody has ever seen one. I am really impressed with this forum except when people start making fun of other people. The knowledge is here. I did buy my car as a long term investment. (sold some stock) I'm seriously trying to learn all I can about it. I've learned alot from this site and the Camaro research site. Please be gentle on me I'm

AJW - I think you set yourself up here!!! You seem to know more about the horn button than you let on in the begining. The rosewood wheel didn't come on 68's so if it's not walnut it's not factory.
